Beat the heat with the Furygan Aron jacket

It may not look like a summer jacket, but the new retro-styled Aron textile jacket from Furygan’s S/S 2017 range is designed to keep you cool and comfortable when the weather warms up, making it ideal for those long, summer rides.

CE-homologated as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), the Aron is made from coated polyester which has windproof and water resistance properties. It also features Furygan’s Skin Protect lining – approved by Furygan’s R&D ‘Motion Lab’ – to reinforce the material against tearing an abrasion resistance.

The inner lining is made from Polymesh and Coolon – a material designed to maximise breathability and moisture absorption to ensure the rider is kept cool when required. The Aron includes D3O protectors at the shoulders and elbows and features a pocket on the back section, which is compatible with D3O’s ‘central back’ Level 1 and ‘full back’ Level 2 back protectors as an added option.

There’s plenty of carrying capacity with five pockets – two outside and two inside – plus two further pockets on the chest which, when opened, reveal two additional vents without decreasing the pocket’s capacity. The jacket can be connected quickly and easily to rider's trousers with the connecting ‘snap claws’ and there are adjusters at the waist for a customised fit.

Available in sizes XS – 4XL, the Aron has an RRP from £159.99.
