Gimbert lifts the FSBK championship trophy while Zarco secures second for the sixth time

The French Superbike Championship drew to a close yesterday with a nail-biting final battle at Albi that saw Furygan’s Sebastien Gimbert claim the 2011 title. After a very successful season, Gimbert entered the last round with a strong lead over his closest rival and BMW teammate Erwan Nigon, who lay in second place in the championship standings.
