Furygan-rider Zarco on the third step at Jerez

Frenchman Johann Zarco came away from the second race of the 125cc World Championship at Jerez this weekend in third place. A thrilling race throughout got underway in damp, patchy conditions with all riders starting on wet tyres. It became much tougher with the rain becoming stronger midway through the race leading to many accidents.

French leathers manufacturer Furygan has entered into an exclusive agreement with UK-based impact protection specialists D3O. As a result of the partnership, many of the protective garments in the 2011 Furygan range incorporate the revolutionary D3O soft armour.

IMPRESSIVE PODIUM FINISH FOR SAM LOWES

Furygan-supported rider Sam Lowes ended his debut World Supersport race for Parkalgar Honda on the podium after a thrilling battle that left him just 0.033 seconds behind race winner Luca Scassa. 20-year-old Lowes put in an impressive performance at the first round of the championship at Philip Island, Australia and was in the lead at the final corner before an incredibly close finish that pushed him into third.
